The hunt is on for the people who sucker-punched a man in the face in Brooklyn, killing him five days later.
The terrifying encounter occurred on May 25 at about 8:30 p.m. in front of the victim’s home on Lexington Avenue, according to a security video provided by police.
The footage shows three men going down the street when one of them sucker-punches Victor Vega, 61, in the face, knocking him to the ground and hitting his head on the pavement.
The two suspects then rob him while he is unconscious on the ground.
The victim was transferred to New York City Health & Hospitals/Kings County, where he died five days later.
According to police, the victim and the suspects had a verbal altercation before the victim was attacked and robbed.
They are hoping that the suspects’ surveillance video will lead to information and an arrest.
