Jane Claire Allsop is an Australian actress who is best recognized for her work on the television series Blue Heelers, in which she played the character Jo Parrish.
She started taking acting classes in Box Hill when she was nine years old, and when she was thirteen, she starred in a commercial for Wedgewood Pie. In the commercial, she wore a bright green bikini, but she was only on screen for a brief moment.
Allsop started out pursuing a degree in the arts, but he never finished. In 1995, she applied to and was admitted into the Victoria College of the Arts, where she eventually earned a degree in visual and performing arts.
