Anne W. Burrell (born September 21, 1969) is a former instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education and an American chef. She is the co-host of Worst Cooks in America and the host of the Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef.
She was also one of the Iron Chefs, Mario Batali’s sous chefs in the Iron Chef America series, and she has appeared on other network shows such as The Best Thing I Ever Ate.
She was a contestant on The Food Network’s The Next Iron Chef Super Chefs during its fourth season, and she was eliminated in episode 6.
She also appeared on the first season of Chopped All-Stars Tournament, where she won the “Food Network Personalities” preliminary round to advance to the final round, where she finished second runner-up to Nate Appleman (winner) and Aarón Sanchez.
Burrell won the fourth edition of the Chopped All-Stars tournament in 2015, raising $75,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In 2012–2013, she co-hosted the show Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell.
Burrell officially tweeted on December 31, 2012, that she was engaged to Koren Grieveson, however as of 2018, she was dating Stuart Claxton. Anne and Claxton announced their engagement on April 21, 2020. On October 16, 2021, the couple married.
