Alexes Joseph Rubia Bendijo is the name that Aljo Bendijo, a Filipino broadcast journalist, goes by. He was born on February 6, 1974.
From 2001 to 2003, he co-anchored the flagship newscast of ABS-CBN called TV Patrol with Korina Sanchez and Henry Omaga-Diaz. From 2008 to 2012, he served as the anchor of Batingaw, which later evolved into People’s Television Network’s Teledyaryo Final Edition.
In addition, he was a host on the morning shows One Morning Cafe and Good Morning Pilipinas. In the years 2006 and 2007, just before he started working for PTV, he was an anchor for Newswatch Aksyon Balita at RPN.
Presently, he hosts the news and commentary radio program BIRADA BENDIJO on Radyo Pilipinas 738 khz in addition to his anchoring duties for Ulat Bayan and Rise and Shine Pilipinas on People’s Television.
