After a medical incident at the lodge north of Durban, South Africa, Princess Charlene was taken to the hospital in the late evening of Wednesday, September 2, 2021.
She was admitted to Netcare Alberlito Hospital in Ballito, north of Durban, and was later released on Thursday, according to News24.
The princess was denied permission to leave South Africa in May 2021 because she had an infection in her ears, nose, and throat.
At the time, the palace stated: “Princess Charlene got an ear, nose, and throat infection that prevented her from traveling on a trip to the African continent as part of a wildlife conservation mission.
