Stephen Glenn Charles Hilton was born on August 25, 1969, in the London Borough of Barnet, United Kingdom.

Steve Hilton’s father, István Csák was a goaltender for the Hungarian national ice hockey team. His father was ranked as a top European ice hockey player in the 1930s.

Steve Hilton’s parents initially worked in catering at Heathrow Airport. However, the couple divorced when Steve was five years old. Steve became a U.S. citizen in May 2021.
