She was born on 19th April 1978 in Pennsylvania, US. Jones is the Daughter of a US court Judge C. Darnel Jones II. She is a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Career
Jones started her career at WICS as a broadcaster. On 4th October, 2014 she joined Today as part of Weekend Today,. She was moved to 3rd Hour Today where she was the co-host of the Program.
On 21st December 2019 she left the Show. In February the following year she announced she is going for a surgery to remove Lesions from her Vocal cord. Her surgery was successful, she was out of work for about 6 weeks .
