Who is Nicole Lorraine Linton? Driver in Los Angeles crash that killed 6 identified
Six people were killed on Thursday in a multi-car collision at a West Los Angeles crossroads. The driver of the Mercedes-Benz who was at fault has been identified.
Nicole Lorraine Linton, a nurse, was identified by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) at the age of 37.
Linton was brought into jail on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence after sustaining moderate injuries in the crash.
Attorneys claimed that they might get the case as early as Monday and would then determine whether to press charges.
Fox 11 reports that Linton works as a traveling nurse at the West Los Angeles Medical Center of Kaiser Permanente.
The station reported that at about 1:30 p.m. PT on Thursday, investigators claimed Linton was traveling above 100 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Officer Franco Pepi told The Associated Press that police are investigating if Linton had a medical episode or was operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The CHP said that the Mercedes car ran a red light without ever appearing to brake.
The collision resulted in a loud explosion that sounded like a bomb, according to witnesses at the scene in the Windsor Hills neighborhood who spoke to Fox News.
Alphonso Word stated that “one lady snatched the baby that was ejected and was racing into the store with the child, but you could tell there was no life there.”
“The horrifying element, in my opinion, was that you heard the scream. I’m not sure if one of the victims was in the burning automobile, or what, “Added he.

Asherey Ryan, a 23-year-old pregnant lady, together with her unborn child and young son were all reportedly killed in the collision. According to her sister, they were going to a prenatal doctor’s appointment.
Seven additional people were taken to the hospital and an infant died in the collision.
According to Pepi, the other victims, which also included a 33-year-old mother and six kids ranging in age from 1 to 15, sustained minor injuries.
In a statement released on Twitter, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón stated that a prosecutor had been assigned and will cooperate with police enforcement throughout the weekend.
“My heart breaks for the families who lost loved ones in the terrible vehicle accident that happened in Windsor Hills yesterday. Losing so many beautiful lives will have a long-lasting effect on those who are closest to them, and this great tragedy has shocked Los Angeles, “added he.
