Mark Reed Levin was born on September 21, 1957, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States as one of three boys born to a Jewish family of parents, Jack E. Levin and Norma Levin.
Mark R. Levin spent most of his childhood in Erdenheim as well as Elkins Park. His father, Jack E. Levin was the author of several books.
