The Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellow at UW-Health was discovered dead in Iron County after driving almost five hours from Middleton to go hiking.

Musgrove had her final touch on March 26 in Gurney, when she arrived at the Potato River Falls.

Authorities were given a description of her vehicle and instructed to search the area around Potato River Falls.

The Iron County Sheriff’s Office got a teletype from the Middleton Police Department on March 30 at 12 p.m. concerning a missing/overdue lady who did not return from a hiking excursion, according to the Iron County Sheriff’s Office.

The lady was Kelsey Musgrove, MD.

What Happened to Kelsey Musgrove?

According to officials, Kesley, a UW health surgeon, was discovered dead at Potato River Falls on Sunday, April 3.

It had been eight days since she had informed anyone of her arrival at the waterfall. The truck was purportedly discovered in the parking area of Potato River Falls.

The search began in the immediate vicinity.

Throughout Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota, a thorough search was performed on the ground, in the air, and on the water.

Approximately 25 external agencies’ resources were used throughout the hunt.

According to officials, Musgrove’s body was located near the Potato River Falls on April 3 around 11:25 a.m.

The cause of death is currently under investigation. According to accounts, foul play is not suspected at this moment.
