American investigative journalist Jeffrey Michael German worked in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked as a journalist in Las Vegas for four decades. He contributed articles to the Las Vegas Sun and Review-Journal.
With the recent arrest of Clark County Public official Rober Telles, let’s look at how the deceased Jeff German investigations led to the arrest of Robert Telles.
Investigative journalist Jeff German reported in the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the Clark County MD’s office was in “turmoil” in the months leading up to his stabbing death last weekend.
German, 69, was found dead after being stabbed outside his home on the morning of Saturday, September 3. Detectives from the Las Vegas City Police Department said he was killed Friday morning but was not discovered until the next day.
On Wednesday, Las Vegas police issued an arrest warrant at the home of Clark County public official Robert “Rob Telles,” who has been the focus of Germany’s investigation. Telles was arrested on Wednesday evening.
Telles, a Democrat, lost a tripartite primary in June. In online publications after the election, Telles appeared to blame Germany for his election loss.
Police interviewed Telles on Wednesday as they searched his home in the West Valley, sources told eight news investigators. Telles returned home around 2:30 p.m. and did not comment when 8 News Now Investigator Vanessa Murphy asked him questions.
After a two-hour standoff, the police entered Telles’ home and arrested him.
