Early Life and Education
He was born on April 1982 in Malvern, Worcestershire, England to south African parents; Quintin Visser Davis (Father) and Hazel Noreen Davis (Mother). He was raised up in Ashtead, Surrey. He studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Saint John’s College, Oxford University from 1981 to 1984.
He obtained a master’s in Public Administration at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Evans Davis’s Career

Davis Evans worked as an Economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies before writing articles at the London Business School. He joined the BBC as an Economics correspondent.
As the corporation’s economic editor, his role was to report and analyse economic developments on BBC radio and television. Around June 2007,he was a guest presenter on The Telegram Today for two weeks. He left his position as economics editor in April 2008 to replace Presenter Carolyn Quinn on The Today’s program.
Evans has presented several programmes at the corporation.
