Who is Dr Michelle Morse’s Husband?

As a pediatrician and health policy expert, Morse has become a popular figure in the medical community. Her early interest in the topic of domestic health disparities led her to work in a Guatemalan clinic.

There, she discovered that simple interventions like reducing a child’s intake of sugar could help prevent diarrhea in children. After this experience, Morse took a year off from medical school to conduct research in Botswana.

She realized that her time and energy was limited, and she needed more time to make a difference.

After earning her MD from Harvard Medical School in 2010, Dr. Morse was named a Soros Equality Fellow and began a fellowship in Harvard Medical School’s Department of Global Health and Social Medicine.

From 2013 to 2016, she was the Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Partners in Health. She also served as the Director of Medical Education at the new Mirebalais Hospital, a public academic medical center in Haiti.

She also started the hospital’s first three residency programs.

In 2011, Dr. Morse was appointed to the United States Naval Academy and worked with her classmates in Haiti.

In 2018, she was selected to be the president of EqualHealth and the inaugural chief medical officer of the New York City Department of Health. The award was given to Morse for her contributions to international health.

The next year, she received an MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health. As a result of this honor, she has been recognized as an exceptional scholar.
