E4 has brought back Embarrassing Bodies with a new lineup of medical professionals.
One of them is Dr. Anand Patel – here’s everything you need to know.
Who is Dr. Anand Patel?
Dr. Anand graduated in Medicine in 2000 from King’s College London.
Previously, he left medicine to become a biology professor and director of Sex Ed in 2004, before returning to medicine and earning a GP degree in 2008.
When he’s not working as a GP in South London three days a week, he’s at a men’s health center on Harley Street, where he specializes in health, sexual function and testosterone issues affecting men.
Dr. Anand was one of the first doctors in the UK to be awarded the European Committee for Sexual Medicine Fellowship in 2012, the only recognized accreditation in the field in Europe.
He is also a board member of the British Society for Sexual Medicine and the Primary Care Testosterone Advisory Group.
In his spare time, he trains doctors to become general practitioners and trains them on how to talk to patients about the topic of sex and relationships.
It doesn’t stop there, as he is also the co-host of The Pleasure Podcast.
