David Shukman is a British journalist, David is the former science editor for the BBC.
Early Life and Education
David was born on 30th May, 1958 in Saint Pancras in London. He was born to Harold Shukman (Father), a British historian who specialised in the history on Russia, and Ann King-Farlow.
David was named after his grandfather. He attended Eton college, he then pursued and earned a bachelor’s degree in geography at Durham university. He was also a student at Hatfield College.

David Shukman’s Career
In 1980 to 1983 he worked for the Coventry Evening Telegram. On joining the BBC he worked as the Northern Ireland reporter for 1985 to 1987, then served as a defense correspondent for 8 years.
Before becoming Environment and science correspondent hr became the world affairs correspondent. Shukman became the corporation’s first science editor in 2012.
