According to Fairfield County Sheriff Alex Lape, a 32-year-old male is dead after a shooting at Colonial Estates Mobile Home Park at 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
He named the victim as Lancaster resident Justin A. Pierce, who passed away after being shot just once. At the site in Greenfield Township, medical personnel made fruitless attempts to revive him.
Who is Cody Blaine?
Cody Blaine, a 27-year-old county resident, was taken into custody by deputies in relation to the incident. On account of an aggravated murder charge, Blaine is now being held in the county jail.
Lape claimed that there had been some sort of quarrel between the two men prior to the shooting, though he was unsure of its specifics.
He claimed that the shooting took place in the open at lot number 137 of the mobile home park at 2445 Columbus-Lancaster Road, also known as U.S. 33.
