In his career, he’s played in 31 games and has recorded 42 combined tackles, one interception, seven passes defended, and one fumble recovery.
While the team’s roster is currently empty, the Arizona Cardinals signed former Tennessee Titans cornerback Breon Borders, who is a free agent. He played 11 games with the Tennessee Titans in 2018. In that time, he had four defensive tackles, two passes defensed, and one special teams tackle. His career has included stops with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2018-19), Washington (2019) and Tennessee.
Breon Borders was born on July 22, 1995, in Statesville, NC. He played college football at Duke. He made 35 starts and set the freshman record for interceptions. He graduated with a 3.75 grade point average and the 2nd highest total number of pass breakups and successfully defended passes. He was named to the 2016 All-ACC Third Team. In 2016, he had 148 tackles and made three interceptions.
In December, he was activated from the COVID-19 list. He was tested positive for COVID-19 on Dec. 28. He missed the Cardinals’ Week 17 game against the Cowboys. He will return to the lineup in Week 18 against the Seahawks. He will be in prime form ahead of the team’s incoming playoff run. The Arizona Cardinals have released Breon Borders from their roster. He was signed from the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad on Dec. 15 and has played in 10 games for the Titans this season.
