Over the course of several years, two men have been arrested for allegedly impersonating federal officials.
According to the FBI, Arian Taherzadeh, 40, and Haider Ali, 36, have been impersonating officers and employees of the United States government, which has been made up of personnel of federal law enforcement agencies, since February 2020.
Who Is Arian Taherzadeh?
The two are accused of obtaining drug paraphernalia, pistols, and assault rifles used by federal law enforcement.
The FBI has also been accused of using its phony official affiliation to “ingratiate themselves with members of federal law enforcement and the military community.”
Why was Arian Taherzadeh Arrested?
Where are the other residents of the same building, where it has been claimed that the two of them assisted several apartments at the building for which they were paid by DHS?
A resident of the building was not employed by federal law enforcement, despite the fact that he was named in the affidavit as a witness who also stated that Taherzadeh had a concealed firearm and presented a witness who was with the batch with other credentials proving that he was a law enforcement officer.
According to the FBI, Taherzadeh and Ali met with their “Witness 2” in July 2021, who is also a Secret Service operative.
Taherzadeh told the agent about his work with the HSI and sent him multiple photos of himself in “police tactical gear” and HSI training, the latter of which turned out to be a stolen photo acquired on the internet, according to the FBI.
Taherzadeh reportedly provided the agent’s wife with a “government vehicle,” offered to buy the agent a weapon, and gave the agent a pistol holder, according to Taherzadeh. Ellias claims the holder is still in the agent’s possession.
