Who is Anthony Todt? Connecticut man convicted of killing wife, 3 kids, and dog

A Connecticut physical therapist was found guilty of murdering his wife, three children, and pet dog at their Florida home two years ago.

Anthony Todt was convicted guilty of four counts of first-degree murder and one count of animal cruelty by a Kissimmee jury.

Who is Anthony Todt?

Todt, 46, claimed he killed Megan, 42, and their three children, Alek, Tyler, and Zoe, 13, 11 and 4, because he wanted them to “cross over to the other side together” before the end of the world.

At his trial, his public counsel deleted the confession and attempted to blame the slaughter on his late wife.

Megan poisoned and stabbed her children and family dog Breezy before turning the knife on herself at their new house near Walt Disney World, according to Todt.

Todt testified Wednesday, “I was covering for my wife.” “Obviously, to no avail. I had no idea how my children had died.”

Todt will be sentenced to life in prison.

The victims were last seen in December 2019, and a month later, their bodies were discovered decomposing in the house.
