American musician and movie star, Pauley Perrette, best known for her role as Forensic scientist Abby Sciuto in the hit series NCIS, was born in New Orleans on March 27, 1969 to Dona Bell and Paul Perrette.
The 53 year old actress grew up under the care of her loving parents. Her mother passed about 20 years ago after losing her battle with breast cancer. Pauley still speaks of her occasionally, mentioning how much she inspired her and how much she misses her.
The Broke star even released a cookbook and opened a bakery named after her beloved mother, Dona Bell’s Bake shop. Both the cookbook and bakery are filled with sumptuous recipes from Perrette’s mother’s handmade delicacies.
Pauley lost her father to Covid-19 early last year. Paul Perrette was a fire fighter, USAF Veteran and county commissioner. She shared an emotional tribute to him in a tweet few months after he passed away. “He was my world.” She wrote about her father who died at 85.
The three time People’s Choice Awards nominee undoubtedly shared a close bond with her parents. They were great people who moulded her into the role model many have come to love and she is forever grateful.
