Mark Hoppus is best known as the bassist and co-lead vocalist of the rock band Blink-182.
He is also a member of the pop rock duo Simple Creatures, which he formed with All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth.
Hoppus has achieved a great deal in his career as a record producer, working with artists like Idiot Pilot, New Found Glory, The Matches, Motion City Soundtrack, and PAWS.
In the past, he co-owned the businesses Atticus and Macbeth Footwear.
In 2012, he launched the clothing line Hi My Name is Mark.

Where is Mark Hoppus from?
Before moving to Ridgecrest, California, his family lived near Washington, D.C., where Hoppus was raised.
He later characterized Ridgecrest as being home to “geniuses, scientists, physicists, and then just complete strung-out meth-heads.”
Aaron and Lempi Orrenmaa, his maternal great-grandparents, were Laihia-born immigrants from Finland.
His father Tex, like many residents of Ridgecrest, designed missiles and bombs for the Navy testing facility located in the community.
