Aileen is currently a theatre professor at Monmouth University in New Jersey and the lead singer of the rock group The Leapin’ Lizards, based in Los Angeles.
She made her feature film debut as a young child in the international hit musical 1982’s Annie. Actress Aileen Quinn is now an adult.
The 46-year-old actress, who portrayed the endearing freckle-faced orphan in the classic film, is hardly recognisable from her role in the film, in which she delighted audiences with catchy songs like Tomorrow and It’s a Hard Knock Life.
Her vibrant red curly hair has been replaced by luscious auburn waves, but the well-known child actress will always be remembered for her brash side character.
Quinn left the big screen after Annie’s success, but she did the voiceover for Dorothy Gale in the 1982 animated version of The Wizard of Oz.
