Michelle Evelyn Morse is an American internist. She is an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women’s Hospital and co-founded EqualHealth and Social Medicine Consortium.

In 2021, Morse was named the first Chief Medical Officer of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

What is Dr. Michelle Morse’s Age?

When asked what is Dr. Michelle Morse’s age, she said that she is 39 years old. However, she has always been open to the idea of having a younger sister.

At one time, she was just eight years old and was so eager to have a baby. During a visit to a pediatric clinic in Guatemala, she learned that many children die from diarrhea, despite simple interventions.

In 2013, Dr. Morse was named a Howard Hiatt Global Health Equity fellow at Harvard Medical School. She worked in Haiti and Rwanda to help the people affected by the 2010 earthquake.

She was also a first responder to the cholera outbreak in Haiti, and she worked on various women’s health initiatives. In May 2012, she earned her MPH from Harvard School of Public Health.

During her fellowship at the Brigham, she worked on the founding of the equal health organization, EqualHealth. She spent time in Haiti in mobile clinics and visited patients in their homes.

She also saw patients with tuberculosis and HIV on community hospital rounds. Her time in Haiti also coincided with the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti, which ravaged the country’s weak medical infrastructure.

She was the first to treat victims of the cholera outbreak in Haiti and worked on women’s health projects. Eventually, she got her MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health.
