Singer Hypo Cause of Death: What happened?

At a music party in the early hours of today morning, a RAP star and previous boyfriend of Emeli Sandé was stabbed to death.

Following the fatal stabbing of Hypo – real name Lamar Jackson – soon after midnight, detectives opened a murder investigation.

Following a minor altercation at a ticketed party located in a huge marquee area in Woodford Green, East London, singer Hypo was stabbed in the heart.

The dreadlocked rapper was a key figure in the East London-based Mashtown group of rappers, and is often acknowledged as having had a significant impact on the British rap scene.

He dated Scottish actress Emeli Sande for a year before breaking up with her in 2017, but the two are claimed to have remained friends.

Hypo had lately become engaged to a new girlfriend, with whom he had a child a year earlier, according to friends.
The singer was born and raised in Islington, North London, and has also lived in Jamaica.

According to friends, he had a rough history but had mellowed in recent years.

He is claimed to have been attacked after a “trivial row” during a Jubilee weekend party attended by hundreds of people on the first night.

Paramedics attempted to resuscitate Hypo, but he died on the spot as onlookers gasped in horror.
Ambulance professionals attempting to resuscitate Hypo were filmed by a ghoul, who later released the macabre video clip on social internet.

Hypo was videotaped in a car driving to the location with friends just before his death, and then dancing, smoking, and smiling while he was filmed at the event.

There have been no arrests, and police are appealing for witnesses.

In due order, a post-mortem examination will be performed to determine the cause of death.

“This individual was attacked at a party, and we know that a big number of people would have been in attendance,” Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith said.

The news of Hypo’s death spread quickly on social media.
