This week, a Fort Bragg-based Army paratrooper was shot and murdered in front of his Fayetteville, North Carolina, residence.
Police discovered Sgt. Nicholas Bobo, 22, was at his apartment complex at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday with multiple gunshot wounds, according to WNCN. At the scene, he was identified as deceased.
The 407th Brigade Support Battalion’s automated logistics specialist Bobo is survived by his wife, daughter, and parents. He enlisted in the Army in 2019 and had been at Fort Bragg ever since.
According to investigators, the shooting was not a random act of violence, and Bobo’s car was taken, according to WNCN.
The incident is being looked into by the Army Criminal Investigation Command and the Fayetteville Police Department.
