Robert Telles, sometimes known as Rob Tellis, is a Clark County attorney and public servant from Las Vegas. Tilles has resided in the region for at least 20 years, according to the county.

On Wednesday morning, Las Vegas police verified that a search warrant had been delivered at Telles’ residence. Recent investigative investigations by Review-Journal investigative journalist Jeff German have focused on Telles.

Police confirm that they have searched a county official’s residence in relation to the journalist murder probe.

2014 saw Telles receive her law degree from UNLV’s Boyd College of Law. He created Accolade Law, a firm that specialized in estate planning and probate proofs, in West Charleston between Rancho and Valley View one year later, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Telles initially campaigned as a Democrat for Clark County MD in 2018. Thomas Fougere, a Republican, lost to him. His four-year term began in January 2019 and will finish on January 2, 2023.

Telles ran for re-election in 2014 but was defeated by Rita Reed, a fellow Democrat, in the primary.

His candidacy was dogged by controversy following articles by the Review-Journal and German in particular that revealed claims of bullying and retaliation within his office.
