Dean Stockwell, who grew from a cherubic, curly-haired child actor into a charming and occasionally sinister staple of film and television, earning Oscar and Emmy nominations as a lecherous gang lord in “Married to the Mob” and a cigar-smoking admiral in TV’s “Quantum Leap,” died Nov. 7 at 85.
