Who is Rebekah Vardy?
She was raised in Norwich and has stated in numerous interviews, most recently in 2020, that she was forced to mature too quickly after experiencing abuse as a youngster and becoming homeless at the age of 15.
When she was 11 years old, her parents, John and Alison, got a divorce. As both of them moved on to other relationships, she traveled from city to city, residing in Norwich, Reading, and Oxford. She married electrical engineer Mark Godden in Mexico after meeting him when she was 17 years old.
While promoting clubs in 2014, Vardy had the opportunity to meet football player Jamie Vardy.
They exchanged vows at Cheshire’s Peckforton Castle on May 25, 2016.
Vardy has five children from her three different relationships: a daughter named Megan was born in 2005 with her then-husband Mark Godden; a son named Taylor was born in 2010 with footballer Luke Foster; and three daughters Sofia (born in 2014), Finlay (born in 2017), and Olivia Grace (born in 2019) were born to Vardy and her current husband. Ella, Jamie’s daughter from a previous relationship, also has her as a stepmother.
Vardy is partly Portuguese because his father, Carlos Miranda, was born in Madeira.
