Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn is the earl and countess’s two children.
The Countess was taken to King Edward VII Hospital in December 2001 after feeling unwell; it was discovered that she had an ectopic pregnancy, and the fetus had to be removed.
On November 8, 2003, their daughter Louise gave birth prematurely as a result of a sudden placental abruption, putting both mother and baby at risk.
While the Earl of Wessex returned from Mauritius, the Countess had an emergency cesarean section at Frimley Park Hospital.
On December 17, 2007, the Countess returned to Frimley Park Hospital to give birth to their son, James Viscount Severn, via cesarean section.
