Peter George Sissons was an English journalist and broadcaster. He was born on July 17, 1942, and passed away on October 1, 2019. Before becoming the host of BBC’s Question Time between 1989 and 1993 and
the host of BBC’s Nine O’Clock News and Ten O’Clock News between 1993 and 2003, he was a newscaster for ITN and provided bulletins for ITV and Channel 4 during that time. He also worked as a newscaster for ITN between 1993 and 2003.
In 2009, he took his retirement from the BBC, and in 2019, he passed away from leukemia.
