Nikolas Bird Cause of death
According to Idaho Falls police, the incident happened on Saturday in the 1500 block of Claire View Lane just before 10:30 p.m.
Bent allegedly called dispatch shortly afterward and admitted to being involved in the shooting.
Bent was discovered by them in the Albertson’s parking lot on Holmes Avenue and 17th Street.
Police are seen drawing their weapons as they take the man into custody in witness video.
Investigators claimed that the two guys were acquainted, but they withheld any additional information.
Nikolas Bird, 23, was the guy who died in this incident, according to the police.
Bent is accused with first-degree murder, according to Bonneville County Prosecutor Randy Neal, who stated this on Sunday.
His first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday.

Import Domestic Throwdown car club and Castaways car club are working together to hold a memorial service for Nikolas Bird, 23, who lost his life in a shooting on September 3.
The memorial is scheduled for Tuesday in Blackfoot’s Jensen Grove Park from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The neighborhood is organizing a car meet, a minute of silence, speeches, and a fundraiser for Bird’s family.
A bucket fill up and item sales are both part of the fundraising. Only cash will be accepted.
They don’t want visitors to think this is a drag strip, therefore loud music, burnouts, or revving motors are not permitted.
