Moira Clare Ruby Stuart, CBE is a British presenter and broadcaster who was born on September 2, 1949. She worked for BBC News since 1981 and was the first Caribbean female newsreader to appear on British national television.

She has delivered various BBC television news and radio programs throughout the course of her four-decade career, including nine years as the newsreader for The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2.

Every Sunday from 23:00 to midnight, she hosted her own music show on the channel, showcasing “timeless classics” from the previous 60 years.Stuart joined Classic FM as a morning news presenter in February 2019 and as a weekend presenter with her own Saturday show in July 2019.

Stuart was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2001 for services to broadcasting, and a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2022 for services to media.
