Mehmet Oze is a Turkish-American television presenter, author, politician, political candidate and a retired Physician. He is professional Known as Dr Oz.

Mehmet graduated at the top of his class in medical school in 1950. In Atlanta, he was trained in Cardio thoracic surgery. Oz grew up in a mixed Muslim environment. He holds an MD from The university of Pennsylvania, he received his undergraduate degree in biology from Havard university.
Mehmet began his career at a hospital affiliated to the Columbia university. In 2001 he became a professor at the Columbia university Vlagelos college of Physicians and Surgeons.

On November 30,2021 Mehmet Oz announced his candidency for the senate seat in Pennsylvania as a Republican.
