Max Verstappen Father: Who Is He?

Max Emilian Verstappen is a Belgian-Dutch race car driver who won the Formula One World Championship in 2021. He competes for Red Bull Racing under the Dutch flag in Formula One. Former Formula One driver Jos Verstappen is his father.

At the 2015 Australian Grand Prix, at the age of 17 years and 166 days, he became Formula One’s youngest driver. After spending the 2015 season with Scuderia Toro Rosso, Verstappen began the 2016 season with the Italian team before being moved to Red Bull Racing in place of Daniil Kvyat after four races.

In his debut for Red Bull Racing in the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix, he became the youngest-ever driver and the first Dutch driver to win a Formula One Grand Prix.

Verstappen became the first Dutch driver to win the Formula One World Championship and the 34th Formula One World Drivers’ Champion after winning the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Verstappen has won 24 races and earned 14 pole positions as of the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix. At the Austrian Grand Prix in 2021, he achieved his maiden Grand Slam. A contract extension will keep Verstappen at Red Bull until at least the end of the 2028 campaign.

Johannes Franciscus (4 March 1972) is a former Dutch race car racer. In 1993, he won the German Formula Three championship and the Masters of Formula Three.

Max Verstappen’s father, Jos, has criticized Red Bull’s strategy for the Monaco Grand Prix, stating that the team should have prioritized his son over Sergio Perez. Red Bull teammate Perez won in Monaco, while Red Bull teammate Verstappen finished in third place.
