MckourageMark William Austin (born November 1, 1958) is an English journalist and television presenter for Sky News. Austin is most known for being a former co-newscaster for the ITV Evening News with Mary Nightingale,
as well as a former co-newscaster for the ITV News at Ten with Julie Etchingham. From 2008 to 2011, he hosted the ITV documentary series Real Crime. As part of Sky News’ scheduling modifications,
he has been hosting The News Hour and Sky News at 6 since September 24, 2018.In September 2018, Austin began hosting The News Hour with Mark Austin on Sky News, which airs weekdays between 5 and 6 p.m. from Sky Central.
On weekdays, he also hosts Sky News at 6 between 6 and 7 p.m. Austin broadcast Sky News live from Kyiv on the opening day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
