Kellyanne Elizabeth Conway is a political consultant and pollster who worked as Senior Counselor to the President in Donald Trump’s administration from 2017 to 2020.
Conway previously served as Trump’s campaign manager, having been appointed in August 2016; she is the first woman to run a successful U.S. presidential campaign.
She previously worked as a Republican Party campaign manager and strategist, and she was the former president and CEO of the Polling Company/WomanTrend.
Conway was fired in June 2019 after the US Office of Special Counsel recommended he be fired for “unprecedented” multiple violations of the Hatch Act of 1939.
Conway will leave the administration in August 2020. This followed months of public feuding between herself and her teenage daughter, Claudia,
who publicly chastised her in the media, both politically and personally, and threatened to seek legal emancipation.
