Kate Bush Husband
Catherine Bush CBE is an English singer, songwriter, musician, dancer, and record producer who was born on July 30, 1958. She became the first female artist to achieve a UK number one with a self-written song when her debut single “Wuthering Heights” topped the UK Singles Chart for four weeks in 1978, when she was 19 years old.
Since then, Bush has had 25 UK Top 40 songs, including the top ten hits “The Man with the Child in His Eyes,” “Babooshka,” “Running Up That Hill,” “Don’t Give Up” (a duet with Peter Gabriel), and “King of the Mountain.”
Her ten studio albums all charted in the UK Top 10, including the number one albums Never for Ever (1980), Hounds of Love (1985), and The Whole Story (1990). (1986). She was the first British solo female artist to reach the top of the UK album charts, as well as the first female musician to debut at number one.
Bush began creating songs when he was eleven years old. After Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour assisted in the production of a demo tape, she was signed to EMI Records.
The Kick Inside, her debut album, was published in 1978. Bush gradually developed artistic independence in album creation, and since The Dreaming, she has produced all of her studio albums (1982).
The Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music was given to Bush in 2002. Bush received a CBE for contributions to music in the 2013 New Year Honours. She has been nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame three times, in 2018, 2021, and 2022.

From the late 1970s to the early 1990s, Bush was in a long-term relationship with bassist and engineer Del Palmer. She is now married to Danny McIntosh, a guitarist. The couple have a son together. Bush grew up in Eltham, southeast London. She relocated to a canalside house in Sulhamstead, Berkshire, in the 1990s, and subsequently to Devon in 2004.
