John Fetterman Stoke
John Karl Fetterman is the 34th Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania, having taken office in 2019.
He previously served as Mayor of Braddock from 2005 to 2019. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
Fetterman ran for the United States Senate in Pennsylvania in 2016, and he plans to run again in 2022.
Fetterman was born to Karl and Susan Fetterman in Reading Hospital in West Reading, Pennsylvania, in 1969.
Fetterman earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Albright College, his father’s alma mater, in 1991, and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Connecticut in 1993.
In 1995, Fetterman joined the newly formed AmeriCorps and was assigned to teach GED students in Pittsburgh.
Fetterman worked in Pittsburgh for two years before attending Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and earning a Master of Public Policy in 1999.

‘I was sick, but I was so focused on the campaign that I ignored the symptoms and continued on.’ On Friday, it finally caught up with me.’ says Fetterman,
A stroke was caused by a blood clot in his heart, which the state official discovered. According to him, doctors were able to completely remove it and reverse the stroke.
The good news is that I’m feeling much better, and the doctors say no cognitive damage has occurred.’ Fetterman continued, ‘I’m on my way back to full health.’
He will stay in the hospital for the time being, but he expects to be released “soon.” It’s unclear whether the candidate will be able to leave the hospital in time for Tuesday’s election.
