Evelyn McGee-Colbert is an actress, movie producer and the wife of the Grammy winning reality show host, Stephen Colbert. She has been married for twenty nine years and has had three children with Colbert.
The fifty nine year old American actress made her acting debut in 2005 when she played the role of Clair Noblet in Strangers with Candy, a movie which her husband Stephen co-produced and also starred in. She also starred in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, along with her two sons in 2013.
She has been active in the film industry since then, both as as a movie star and a producer. The most recent movie she produced was Derek Delgaudio’s In & Off Itself which was released in 2020.
Evelyn is also currently the President of the Montclair Film Board of Trustees and also the Vice President of Spartina Productions. Her entire career is rooted in the movie industry and has grown even more successful over the years.
