Is Michael O’Kennedy Still Alive?

Irish politician Michael O’Kennedy is still alive. Born in 1932, he served as Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food from 1987 to 1991.

He also served as European Commissioner for the Environment. While a member of Fianna Fáil, Michael O’Kennedy is still very active.

His activities in politics span from public speaking and environmental issues to promoting environmental protection.

The primary career of O’Kennedy is as a Politician, and he has been extremely wealthy as a result. This is perhaps the reason for his continued public service and success.

His zodiac sign is Pisces, with the element of Water and the duality of Passive, making him a very enlightened and influential politician.

However, it is difficult to predict what the future holds for O’Kennedy.

O’Kennedy joined Fianna Fáil in 1957 and quickly rose to prominence. In the 1965 general election, he ran unsuccessfully for the seat of Tipperary North. O’Kennedy later served as Minister of Agriculture and Food and as party spokesperson.

He was also appointed to the Seanad Éireann in 1969 and elected to the Dil in the same year. In 1972, he was appointed Minister of Education and then moved into the government.

His final political position was as Minister of Transport and Power, which he held until the 2002 general election.

During the election of 1979, Fianna Fail leader Albert Reynolds challenged O’Kennedy. O’Kennedy supported the incumbent leader.

In the subsequent reshuffle, he was promoted to Minister of Labour. In his view, this was a very important role in the cabinet. A key role in the new government was to make O’Kennedy Minister of Labour.
