Kristin Dawn Chenoweth, born Kristi Dawn Chenoweth on July 24, 1968, is an American musical theatre, film, and television actor and singer.
Her performance as Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown on Broadway earned her the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical in 1999.
Chenoweth was nominated for a second Tony Award in 2003 for creating the role of Glinda in the musical Wicked.
Annabeth Schott on NBC’s The West Wing and Olive Snook on ABC’s comedy drama Pushing Daisies earned her a 2009 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
She also appeared in the 2012 ABC television series GCB, as Lavinia in Trial & Error, and as Mildred Layton in the Apple TV+ musical comedy Schmigadoon! (2021).
