Darvin Ham Sr. is an American professional basketball coach and former player who currently serves as the primary assistant coach for the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks (NBA).
From 1996 to 2005, he played in the NBA for eight seasons before moving on to the Philippine Basketball Association and the NBA Development League until 2008. In 2004, he won the NBA championship with the Detroit Pistons.
Ham worked as a studio analyst for Fox Sports Southwest during the Dallas Mavericks’ postseason run in 2006. From July 10 to 14, 2006, he was a member of the Orlando Magic summer league team in the Pepsi Pro Summer League.
Ham later played with the New Jersey Nets in the 2006 preseason.Ham spent the 2007 preseason with the Mavericks before being dismissed on October 24, 2007.
The Albuquerque Thunderbirds selected him third overall in the NBA D-League draft in 2007. The Thunderbirds traded Ham to the Austin Toros on April 4, 2008.

Deneitra Ham is Darvin Ham’s wife. They both attended Texas Tech University. Darvin Ham Jr., his son, played for Northwood University and is now an assistant coach there for the 2021–22 season.
