Dion Marquise Hayes, who was born on November 25, 1995, is an American rapper who goes by the stage name 42 Dugg professionally. Together with Interscope Records, he is signed to the record labels 4 Pockets Full (4PF) and Collective Music Group (CMG), both of which are owned by Yo Gotti and Lil Baby, respectively.

He is most recognized for his work with the American rapper Lil Baby, which includes the songs “Grace” and “We Paid.” The latter of these songs reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time. It was with his second mixtape, Young & Turnt 2, that he made his debut on the Billboard 200 chart.

The mixtape received praise. Free Dem Boyz, his fourth mixtape, was released in 2021, and it reached its highest position on the Billboard 200 chart at number 8.

After running through a stop sign on June 5, 2020, Hayes evaded capture by escaping in a hired SUV from a traffic stop and living as a fugitive for the next two months. The authorities collaborated with the rental agency in an effort to track down Hayes.

On August 4, 2020, Hayes was apprehended by law enforcement and later charged with eluding arrest, which is a felony of the third degree. He was allowed to go free after posting a bond of $20,000.

After failing to report to serve a sentence of six months in federal prison for illegal possession of a firearm, Hayes was taken into custody on May 5, 2022 at Willow Run Airport in Michigan. The offense that led to his arrest was illegal possession of a firearm.
