MckourageGeorge Jack Donikian was born on December 15, 1951, in Australia. He is of Greek and Armenian descent and used to be a radio and TV newscaster. He has worked for the Nine Network, the Ten Network, and the SBS.
Donikian was born and raised in the Sydney suburb of Kingsford. His father was a Greek Armenian who moved to Australia from Athens in 1949. A year later, he brought his fiancée with him.
