Sofia Essadi is a French-Moroccan singer and actress, who was born on August 6, 1984.
She was born to a Moroccan father and a French mother in Casablanca.
She was a semi-finalist in the third season of Star Academy France, which aired from August 30 to December 13, 2003. She eventually came in second place behind Elodie Frégé.
She went on the Star Academy tour from March 12 to August 7, 2004, visiting Morocco and Papeete, Tahiti, where she celebrated her 20th birthday.
