What is a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)?
The Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is a unique Identification number issued to taxpayers and potential taxpayers. Getting a TIN is free. To pay tax, one must get a TIN. It is an offence to not have a TIN as a taxpayer.
