The government of Ghana has just postponed the reopening for basic School pupils.

 This comes after the committee being set up by the Ministry of Education had a meeting on the reopening of schools.

 During the 16th update by the President of the Republic of Ghana the president announced that the reopening for basic schools have been postponed to January 2021.

This will help them have enough time to put measures in place to ensure safe reopening of schools but for the mean time JHS 2 and the SHS 2 are to resume in October. this year to finish their academic year and then take their end of semester examination.


UPDATE No 16: President To Address The Nation Tonight, What Are Your Expectation?

President Nana Akuffo-Addo will today, 30th August, 2021 be addressing the nation.

In his update number 16, what Ghanaians are expecting to hear is the reopening of the boarders as well as the airports and schools which were all shut in the month of March when Ghana recorded cases of the deadly pandemic.

He’s expected to update Ghanaians at 8:00pm.
