Bream started attending Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, when she was 17 years old. While still a student, she won the Miss Virginia pageant in 1990. Later, in 1991, she took part in the Miss America pageant. The majority of her college costs were covered by the scholarship she was given.
Before returning to Tallahassee and enrolling in Florida State University’s law school, Bream earned a magna cum laude in business management from Liberty University in 1993. She interned for Bill McCollum in the US House of Representatives. Later, McCollum rose to become Florida’s attorney general.
She won Miss Florida USA in 1995 and finished fourth in the Miss America competition while enrolled in Florida State University’s law school. The journalist’s and her partner’s chances of having children are fading as they are both well into their 50s. Shannon bream does not have a child yet.
