Lauren Keyana Palmer, an American actress, singer, and television personality born on August 26, 1993, goes by the stage name Keke Palmer. She has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, and she has won a Primetime Emmy Award and five NAACP Image Awards. She is well known for her work in comedy-drama series in both lead and supporting parts.

She later had an appearance in the 2004 television movie The Wool Cap before making her debut in the drama Akeelah and the Bee (2006).
