Dr. Jackie Walters, commonly known as Jacqueline Walters, was born on July 27, 1958, in Port Gibson, Mississippi. In Atlanta, Georgia, she practices as an obstetrician-gynecologist. She is married to basketball player Curtis Berry, a former NBA great. She’s married, but she practices under her maiden name, like most women do.
She additionally stars on the well-liked Bravo reality series Married to Medicine. Walters has appeared on the show on a regular basis since the very first season. A breast cancer survivor herself, Dr. Jackie was motivated to start the 50 Shades of Pink Foundation. She was diagnosed with breast cancer twice after developing it twice, the first time in 2004 and the second time in 2008.
Because of the foundation she created, she gained favor with Atlanta’s ladies and their families. Dr. Jackie has two scientific bachelor’s degrees. The first came from Mississippi State University, and the second from Alcorn State University. Later, she attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine to finish her medical education. Dr. Jackie completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 1997.

When Dr. Jackie and her husband, Curtis Berry, got married at the age of 38, they began trying for a child, and a year later, they were successful. The reality personality, however, also learned that she had breast cancer at the same time. When she was six months pregnant, she miscarried as a result of the treatment which made her not to have the baby.
